This is going to be a great year in first grade! Your child will learn lots of new things and will become a better reader, writer, and mathematician. 

Here are a few important reminders:

•  School begins at 7:30 a.m.  Students are tardy if they arrive in class after 7:30 a.m. The school does not open until 7:00 a.m.  Students should not be dropped off prior to 7:00 a.m.  

• Students will have homework Monday through Thursday.  Please make sure that your child completes his/her homework, but please do not complete the homework for your child.  

• Folders with graded papers are sent home weekly.  Please review the papers, sign the folder, and return the folder and papers to school on the following day.

• If your child's transportation changes, notification must be sent in writing (note or fax).
