Welcome to the 2021-2022 school year. I am a new teacher at Paul Knox but not new to the school. The past two years I was the Accommodations Lab proctor. I have a Bachelor's of Science in education but was not certified in South Carolina. So, last year I took all my tests, got certified in South Carolina, and was happy to accept a Resource Teacher position here at PK. I previously taught a Resource class in Columbia County, Georgia.

I was born in Beirut, Lebanon but have been in the United States almost all my life. I have enjoyed traveling all over the world. Places I have lived are Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, England, Canada, and the United States. In the US, I've lived in Texas, Michigan, Illinois, and South Carolina. I have also visited many countries such as, Thailand, Israel, Kuwait, and France.

I am married to my husband, Paul, and we have one daughter, Alexandria. I enjoy traveling (obviously) and would like to take my family on some wild adventures to other countries! I also love to read and hike.

Teaching is definitely a gift. I love my kids and believe that education is the best way to advance in life. So, I am here and available to help students to be the best they can be!
