Hey there! My name is Dane Griffith and I am thrilled to be teaching Spanish 1 again at Paul Knox Middle School and North Augusta Middle School this year! This is now my 6th year teaching Spanish and I am looking forward to learning and growing with these students throughout the school year.

I moved here from Columbus, Ohio, where I grew up. I graduated from The Ohio State University in 2013. I was fortunate enough to have two experiences abroad- one in Mexico and one in Costa Rica. I have also been on wonderful trips through Cabo San Lucas, Puerta Vallarta, Mazatlan, Roatán, Merida, Cozumel, Belize, Madrid, Barcelona, Amsterdam, London, Playa del Carmen, Tulum, Amber Cove, Half Moon Cay, and Bimini.

This summer my wonderful wife and I spent a lot of time traveling and sharing our little bundle of joy with our friends and family back home. I went to Amber Cove, Nassau, and Grand Turk. We also visited our family in Ohio and her family in Tennessee, as well as some friends in Kentucky. We are excited to get back to our school family and begin an exciting new year with fresh faces and eager minds.
