My name is Derek Forrest and I am the School Counselor for Redcliffe Elementary School. It is so wonderful to be a Redcliffe Bear! This is my 16th year in education and first year at Redcliffe Elementary. I have experience at the elementary, middle, and high school levels as a counselor and administrator. I can definitely say that elementary school is my favorite place to be!

I am a resident of North Augusta, SC where I have spent most of my life. Spending time with my wife, working outdoors in our yeard, and enjoying all things Clemson are my favorite activities outside of school. After spending nine years as an administrator, I decided that school counseling at the elementary level is where I am happiest. Assisting students and families is my passion in life.
