Welcome to my page. My name is Ashley Corley. I am so elated to be a sixth grade teacher at the best middle school in Aiken County. A.L Corbett is a special place for extraordinary people. Ijust finished my tenth year of teaching and I know that this will be a magnificent school year. Teaching has always been my life-long dream and I am blessed to be able to fulfill it here at ALC.   

I graduated from the University of South Carolina Aiken with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I obtained my Master's Degree in Divergent Learning at Columbia College. I completed my internship in Wagener schools and immediately began my teaching career here. I moved to the community to become actively involved in my scholars' lives beyond school and also serve as a positive role model. I am married and I have two biological and two bonus children all of whom I love dearly.  During my spare time, I love to shop, travel, and spend time with my family. I help with the youth at my church and enjoy sharing my talent of singing with others. All in all, I love children and it is my belief that every child is capable of learning but learns in many different ways.

I pray that you all have a safe and enjoyable summer and return ready for the new school year. This summer I will be teaching summer school as well as working with the 21st Century Enrichment Program.  I also look forward to spending time with my family and going on vacations.
