Welcome to my page! My name is Jayme Porter. I am very excited to be the Media Specialist at A.L Corbett Middle School. This is my first year as a Media Specialist. I previously worked as an Instructional Assistant in Kindergarten and in Special Education in Lexington County School District One.    

I graduated from the University of South Carolina with a bachelor's degree in Sociology. In May 2022, I earned my Master's Degree in Library and Information Science, also from the University of South Carolina. I completed two internships, one at Saxe Gotha Elementary School and the other at Meadow Glen Middle School. I currently live in Lexington with my husband and our two children, Cole and Jamison. Cole is 14 and Jamison is 13. We also have two dogs, two cats, and three rabbits. My spare time revolves around my family, we love to explore and stay active.
