My name is Julie Griffin, and I'd like to thank you for your interest in my web page. My teaching career began with Aiken County Public Schools in 2008, at Byrd Elementary School, where I taught 5th grade. I'm proud to continue my teaching journey at Jefferson Elementary, where I team teach and instruct 5th graders in Math and Science. 

I earned my bachelors degree in Elementary Education from University of South Carolina at Aiken and a Masters in Education from Southern Wesleyan University. I love teaching my students and watching them grow academically, and I feel so rewarded when I often see them years later and they remember me and say, "Hi, Mrs. Griffin! I remember when we... in your class."

My loving husband is Michael Griffin, and we've been married since 2009. Together, we have four wonderful children and 5 terrific grandchildren. We love to design landscaping in our yard, take trips, cook out, go to concerts, and watch college football (Go Gamecocks!). 

I can hardly wait to see my students grow academically in the 2023-2024 school year. We will learn so much together and have so many wonderful experiences. It's my privilege to teach the students of Aiken County, my home town.
