Hello, students and parents!
Welcome to JES! My name is Rechelle Atkinson, and I am the K-2 Reading Interventionist at Jefferson Elementary School. I began my teaching career here at Jefferson Elementary in 2004 as a first- grade teacher. I graduated from the University of South Carolina at Aiken with a B.A. in Early Childhood Education and earned my M.Ed. in Educational Leadership and Supervision from Augusta State University. I am married to my husband, Matt, and we have two daughters, Brinley and Lexi.
