As I finish up my 29th  year as a first grade teacher for Aiken County, I look forward to a great summer with family and friends.  I know I'll be ready to return on July 19 for my 30th year!

I graduated in 1991 from Keene State College in Keene, New Hampshire with a Bachelor of Science in Education.  After I married my college sweetheart, Bob, his job transferred him down to Augusta, GA where I started teaching for Aiken County.  I have taught at Jefferson for 26 years.  I also taught for three years at Warrenville Elementary.   Bob and I have two daughters.  Amanda,  who is a graduate of Aiken Tech and USC-Aiken and Abby, who is a junior at Augusta State University.  In our free time, we like to spend time on the beaches around  Wilmington, NC.  On the homefront, we enjoy walking our rescue pup named Palmer on the North Augusta Greeneway and spending time together as a family.
