It is going to be a great year in first grade! I have my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from USC Aiken. This will be my tenth year of teaching. Throughout my childhood, moving was a constant factor in my life. My family has lived in Texas, Utah, Wisconsin (twice), and South Carolina (twice). As a result of this, I am very aware of the apprehension and excitement of joining a new classroom and environment. As a teacher, I utilize my experiences to help my students transition into our classroom community. I love getting to know each of my students and treasure our time together.

While I am originally from Texas, I claim Wisconsin as "home." It holds a large part of my heart (and is home to several of my favorite sports teams). When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and fur babies. I also enjoy doing anything crafty and creative!  I am looking forward to an exciting year with my group of firsties!
