We had Community Helpers Day in Kindergarten last week. We have been learning all week about the people in our community who help us. Chris Tock and Mr. Evan came from the Midland Valley Fire Department to teach us about fire safety and how volunteer firefighters help our community. (Even Mr. Metts got on the fire truck.)
Mrs. Hair's class were chefs for a day and made 2D shaped pizzas (after learning about shapes.) They also got to make real pizzas.
