Welcome to the new school year!
This is Mrs. Mohanty and I am teaching Chemistry, Chemistry Honors and Biology at Ridge Spring Monetta Middle/High School. I’m thrilled to have your child in my classroom this semester and I am looking forward to working with your child on science concepts and skills. Together, we’ll form a productive partnership to ensure your child achieves his or her highest potential and all of his or her learning goals. I am eager to work with your child and facilitate learning in a positive and high-expectation environment. This will be my 15th year of teaching science. I have lots of enriching activities planned for your child with the highest quality of science practices and I am eager to share those with students.
Teaching is my passion and, apart from being a teacher, myself and my husband are parents to 2 young kids with the eldest being my daughter and youngest son. I enjoy and cherish every moment spent with my family and students. As a teacher, my intention is to see my students spread their wings of knowledge and skills and take it to the skies. I’m looking forward to a year filled with challenges and excitement.
