I am a native of Charleston, South Carolina. I attended the University of South Carolina (Go Gamecocks!) for both my undergraduate and master's degrees. I met my husband at USC in 2009 and we were married in February of 2014. We have 2 kids - Dallas and Riley. We are expecting our third child in November of this year!  We have four dogs at home, Bailey Bear (a Shih-Tzu/Chiahuhua mix), two Dockertese, Hamilton and Sadie, and a rescue, Gibbes as well as a cat, Taco. 

I love just about anything to do with Disney, Lilly Pulitzer, pineapples and cupcakes. I like to spend my time with my family, both here in Aiken and going back to visit Charleston. I enjoy baking, reading, watching hockey and football, doing crafts, visiting the library and going to the park with my children. 

The 2023-2024 school year will be my fourteenth year as a librarian and my eighth year here at New Ellenton Middle STEAM Magnet School! I truly do love to read and am committed to helping your student find a book they will love!
