The Purpose of Student Council

The purpose of the student council is to give students an opportunity to develop leadership by organizing and carrying out school activities and service projects. In addition to planning events that contribute to school spirit and community welfare, these students will act as school ambassadors and be a voice for the student body.  

Objectives of the Student Council

• To create in cooperation with the Principal, staff and students, an improved school life at AIS.
• To provide students with opportunities of leadership and to develop in all students a sense of responsibility and pride at AIS.
• To encourage the students at AIS to become more aware of how the school is run and to constructively identify and express their needs.
• To contribute to overall school development by being a resource in working in partnership with the management of the school.
• To promote friendship and respect among students at AIS.
