Beginning October 6th and going until November 17th, Mrs. Walters will be meeting with any students who are interested in auditioning for the 2023 visual arts portion of the acGateway program through ACPSD. Please see the required informational letter and permission slip below.

Students may submit artwork to my art class Instagram if they choose. I will post any submitted student artwork to my class Instagram page. @mrswaltersart is my Instagram handle. This is 100% optional, and I look forward to seeing my students' creative masterpieces ?  You may also send artwork to my school email. swalters@acpsd.net

This is the official Kennedy Center YouTube channel. They have some videos of children's author Mo Willems (Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus) talking about his books, reading, and drawing some of his famous characters. 

This Youtube channel has a variety of Read Aloud videos that promote literacy for Pre-K and elementary school age children. I frequently use this resource in my classroom with 4k-1st grade. 

The Tate Musuem in London, England has a great kids resource section with games, quizzes, and much more. 

Google arts and Culture gives access to museums and art around the world they also have a pretty cool feature on the app version where you can find portraits of people who look like you

A resource throught the National Gallery of Art with project ideas and access to many famous works of art. 

This is a youtube channel that offers simple art tutorials.
