Mr. Derek Forrest
Hi, my name is Derek Forrest, and I am one of the new school counselors at Paul Knox Middle School for this year! I will be working with all of the 7th graders, as well as 8th grade boys. This is my 19th year in education. I have worked at the elementary, middle, and high school levels as a counselor. I grew up in North Augusta and currently live in North Augusta, so I am definitely invested in this community and our students.
I graduated from Clemson University and am a huge Tiger fan! One interesting thing about me is that I got to work through college as a student athletic trainer with the football program at Clemson. That was a really cool experience and I got to work with a lot of great people.
