Hello students and families! Welcome to 5th grade and the 2023-2024 school year.

I am Briana Averill and I will be your Reading and ELA teacher this year!

I graduated from the University of South Carolina – Aiken in May of 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and am currently working towards earning my Graduate degree in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment at Strayer University. I am excited about embarking on my 3rd year of teaching 5th-grade Reading and ELA at Gloverville Elementary School!

I grew up in Batesburg-Leesville, South Carolina, but now I live with my husband and our two cats in Jackson, South Carolina. We are expecting our first child in November!
