Hello!  My name is Kerri Dexter and I am thrilled to be at North Aiken Elementary School.  I will be filling the role of Resource Teacher for 2nd and 4th grade.  Special Education is my passion.  As a student, I struggled in school.  As such, I needed extra help and found myself in a resource classroom.  My passion stems from my desire to help my students overcome their struggles more quickly than I did.

It has been my pleasure to have worked for Aiken County Public Schools for the last three years.  This will be my second year as a teacher.   As your child's teacher, I will strive to help your child overcome the learning struggles that he/she has encountered.  It is my hope to make learning less challenging for my students so that they can see the full potential in themselves and the value of learning.

Outside of working hours, I enjoy spending time with my family.  My husband and I are the proud parents of 2 boys.  We enjoy bicycle rides, walks, family outings, and our many animals (5 dogs, and 2 cats).  We also enjoy trips to the beach and the mountains whenever we can.  New adventures are always welcome in my family as we see each new experience as a way to learn and grow our knowledge and world perspective.
