My name is Yetevia Williams. I was born and raised in Augusta, Georgia. At age 22 is when I decided to began my academic career in the education field. I am inspired to teach because as a child I that student that only a couple of my teachers understood me. I was in and out of trouble as a child and an adolescent. As I matured cognitively, I wanted to motivate children to take a different path than I did during my adolescent years.  With help of GOD my life changed in a positive way. Being able to help children thrive emotionally, socially, and cognitively motivates me to get up every day to teach. I have taught in the Richmond County School System for nine years. I began my employment as a Pre-K paraprofessional while I completed my B.S. degree from 2013-2015. I began my teaching career as a third-grade math teacher and the rest is history. I have taught Kindergarten, 2nd grade, 3rd grade, 4th grade, and 5th grade. I enjoy teaching and getting to know my students.
