• Middle School Registration & Transportation Information

    • Welcome Back to School! We are looking forward to a wonderful school year. Please review the Back to School information provided here to ensure that you are registered and prepared for the first day back!

      Each year, parents/guardians are required to register their student(s) for the upcoming school year. All parents and guardians are asked to register their students online.  Those needing to register at the schools may do so. 

      Parents of new students must provide the following:

      • Two proofs of residency in the custodial parent’s name. Accepted proofs of residency include:
        • A current rental agreement, mortgage contract/statement, or property tax receipt (with the custodial parent’s name on the property)
        • And a current water or power bill with the service address listed (cable and internet bills will not be accepted).
      • A copy of the student’s official state-issued birth certificate
      • A copy of the student’s SC Immunization Record

      Parents of returning students will also need to provide two proofs of residency.

      Note: Transportation/School Bus Registration will be held separately from School Registration. Transportation Registration information is also below.

      Transportation/Bus Registration

      All students must be pre-registered to receive transportation services for the 2020-2021 school year. Registration for Transportation/School Bus Services may be made online by visiting the District’s website and completing the Registration Form located on the Transportation Department page. Parents/guardians may also register their student(s) in person at the students’ designated Area Transportation Office.

      Please note that parents/guardians of kindergarten, first and second-grade students must provide alternate caregiver information on the bus registration form in the event they are not available to be at the bus stop to receive their child.

      For additional information regarding school bus transportation services, please call your local transportation office or visit the District’s website.

      Special Needs Transportation Registration will be held at the District’s Transportation Office, 2457 Jefferson Davis, Hwy., Warrenville, 29851. Questions: Dottie Cooper, (803) 593-7130.

      Area 1 Schools (Aiken Elementary, J.D. Lever, North Aiken, Chukker Creek, East Aiken, Millbrook, Oakwood Windsor, Kennedy Middle, Schofield Middle, Aiken Middle, South Aiken High and Aiken High) will register for transportation in the cafeteria at Aiken High School, 449 Rutland Drive, Aiken, 29801.       Area 2 Schools (Belvedere Elementary, Hammond Hill Elementary, Mossy Creek, North Augusta Elementary, North Augusta Middle, Paul Knox Middle and North Augusta High ) will register for transportation at Mossy Creek Elementary School, 421 West Five Notch Road, North Augusta, 29841.       Area 3 Schools (Byrd, Clearwater, Gloverville, Jefferson, Warrenville, LBC Middle, Leavelle McCampbell Middle and Midland Valley High) will register for transportation at Midland Valley High School, 227 Mustang Drive, Graniteville, 29829. Questions: Crystal Leaphart (803) 593-7103.

      Area 4 Schools in Wagener (Busbee Elementary, A. L. Corbett Middle and Wagener Salley High) may register for transportation at A.L. Corbett cafeteria, 10 AL Corbett Circle, Wagener, 29164. Schools in Ridge Spring (RSM Elementary and RSM Middle/High) may register for transportation at RSM Middle/High School, 10 J P Kneese Drive, Monetta, 29105, Questions: Rashad Roland (803) 564-1103, (803) 685-2103.

      Area 5 Schools (Greendale, Redcliffe, New Ellenton, Jackson and Silver Bluff High) will register at Silver Bluff High School, 64 DeSoto Drive, Aiken, 29803. Questions: Mrs. Felicia Trottie (803) 652-8102.  



      Registration Fees

      Students qualifying for free lunch pay no registration fees, but are expected to pay add-on fees if possible. Students on reduced lunch will pay the same percentage of the registration fee amount as they pay for meals.

      Club Fees (including marching band), yearbooks costs, graduation and prom costs, dual enrollment tuition, and athletic fees (including cheerleading) are not included.  

      Middle Schools Registration Fees  

      $45 for full-pay meal students

      $6.95 for reduced price meal students

      Add-ons: Band/strings = $15

      Band instrument rental = $35
