Hello students and parents.

My Name is Dr. Ball and this is my 13th year at LBC Middle School.  I grew up in a military family, and have lived in South Carolina, North Carolina, and Spain.  I call Myrtle Beach my home, and I graduated from Socastee High school (Go Braves!).  I have also worked as a youth minister in local churches for about 25 years.  I am married to Robin, and we have three children/young adults.  My childrens' names are Jordan (married, age 28), Andrew (25), and Caroline (23).   I love going to the beach and the mountains to get away.

In Social Studies we will be discovering Ancient Cultures such as Egypt, China, and Rome (and many others).  We will also be studying more recent history, including world wars and events of the 20th century!  I look forward to being your teacher this year!

Link to go to .  Most of the class assignments and materials can be found in Schoology.  Even if I give a handout, there will usually be a copy in Schoology.  Parents, you should have a Parent Access Code so you can log in to Schoology (it was sent home to every student), and see the assignments, as well as any grades from quizzes and tests taken.  Students also have their log in info for Schoology: lunch number, and @LBC2020.  The info is in their Agenda.  Look for my parent video in the Parent Stuff Folder in your child's Social Studies Schoology class (black folder).
