Most of the information you need to know will be sent through email to the student and through the REMIND App.

REMIND APP- I will be sending at least weekly text updates through REMIND to let you know what's going on in class.  With REMIND, let me know if your last name is different from your student. To sign up, use your phone to send a text to the number 81010 and the code (message) is @drball23

For both REMIND and email, please let me know if your last name is different from your student.

 Email-  Please send me your email address so I can add you to the parents list.  Mine is vball@acpsd.net.

The main online resource we will be using will be SCHOOLOGY. Go to the acpsd.net website, click the globe, then click Schoology.  Students login with their lunch ID (for both user and password).

You can stay up-to-date with your student's grades through PowerSchool.  You can receive a parent access code in the LBC office.  (Go to ACPSD website, globe, PowerSchool Parent (Parent Portal).

Students can access their classroom textbooks and Study Island online through their CLEVER account (also under the globe on the acpsd website).

CLEVER login and password are your student's lunch ID and their birthday (mmddyyyy)

Another resource students will use is DBQ- Document Based Questions. Login and password for the DBQ is your student login on their school computer.

There are several logins for students to know. To help the students (and you) they will all be written down in their Agenda/planning calendar.    

Supplies: in addition to the normal school supplies (pencil and paper), please have a 1.5 or 2 inch binder, 5-tabbed dividers (for the binder), colored pencils, and highlighters.  You may want your student to have personal hand sanitizer as well.
