Welcome to Advanced Placement U.S. History and Advanced Placement World History!
My name is Mike Rosier, and I am honored to serve as your instructor this year. I am a 1993 graduate of Silver Bluff High School, and a 2012 graduate of the University of South Carolina at Aiken, with a bachelors degree in History. My wife, Sheila, and I have two children, Sara (12), and Dylan (9).
I am a big believer in the power of collaborative learning. What does this mean? It means that through our discussions, we are able to share our knowledge and experiences with others, thus exposing one another to different perspectives. this is a healthy way to learn, and your participation will be integral to the success of the class as a collective unit. So be ready to have an opinion (but also be ready to defend it).
We are going to have a great year, and I can't wait to get started!
