Aspiring Principal's Program

You have likely seen the announcement that six ACPSD assistant principals are participating in the inaugural ACPSD Aspiring Principals Program. These future leaders will pave the way for our district to systematically strengthen the quality of instructional leadership in the district, ensuring our students receive the highest possible quality education throughout the county.

We know this program has a particular impact on the Langley-Bath-Clearwater Middle School Community, since Mr. Jeff Harting will be joining the school as an aspiring principal in January.

We want to assure you that we are very aware of the opportunities and challenges that can arise as a new person enters the school, and will be doing everything we can to make the transition as smooth as possible. Mr. Paul Spadaro will be working with Mr. Harting throughout the fall to help plan his entry into the school, and will still be serving in the role of principal throughout the year. Mr. Harting, the aspiring principal, will take on some principal responsibilities to support his growth, and will also help us think about our systems and structures to improve some of our practices. I am confident that Langley-Bath-Clearwater Middle School will benefit from Mr. Harting’s time with our community.

We want you to know how excited we are that Langley-Bath-Clearwater Middle School has been chosen to be a part of this incredible opportunity, and we hope you’ll support the Aspiring Principals Program participants as they work to build their own leadership skills and strengthen leadership across the district. We believe the Aspiring Principals Program will help us move to a new level of leadership excellence across the district.
