Every year LBC Student Council sponsors a canned food drive to help the needy in our area. This year was no different, but what was different was the amount of items we collected. Over 2000 food items were donated by our students and staff. This was a record amount. Thank you to Payten Calhoun and her mom who took this project to a whole new level by bringing in 1014 cans all by themself. Thank you to everyone at LBC who participated. Your generosity provided Thanksgiving to many families in our community who might otherwise go hungry. As Mr. Rogers would say, "That's showing Lion's Pride."
