Ms. Roseliz Santiago-Libr¨¢n

My name is Roseliz Santiago-Libran. I was born and raised in Puerto Rico. I left the island after my first college degree to serve in the Army as an officer in communications. Upon exiting active duty, I started teaching industrial technology and later Spanish at Midland Valley High School. In the process, I earned the Spanish certification, a master’s degree, and the national board certification. I have taught in Puerto Rico, Georgia, and South Carolina. This is my twenty-eighth-year teaching at MVHS. Midland Valley is my second home. I love to teach and enjoy very much exposing students to the wonderful Spanish language and its culture.

The most wonderful experience of my life has been becoming a mother. I am the proud and happy parent of an awesome girl. She is twelve years old and is in 7th grade. We enjoy being outdoors, visiting family and friends in Puerto Rico, Florida, and Charleston. We are very active in our church and the Hispanic choir. We love dancing, music, singing, movies, crafts, and gardening. Our favorite place to be is the beach. We also enjoy the lakes and the rivers back in Puerto Rico. Yuke and Clio are our dogs and Tigre is our cat. I'm looking forward to teaching you Spanish.

¡Bienvenidos a MVHS!
