Midland Valley High School

  • MVHS Feb 20 Construction

Current enrollment at Midland Valley High School is around 1,345. Due to exponential growth in the Horse Creek Valley Area, the community's high school is currently at 105% capacity and has a number of portable classrooms and "floating" teachers (these teachers do not have a dedicated classroom and carry their materials in backpacks, utilizing other teachers' classrooms when unoccupied).

Construction of the needed additional space at Midland Valley High School is projected at a cost of $23 million, and will provide for the addition of 24 classrooms, an auxiliary gym, dining, parking, and enhanced security.
