Mr. Bridges
Welcome to Mr. Bridges art classroom. I am excited to be part of the team at Kennedy Middle School. I taught at Silver Bluff High School for 11 years. I have also been coaching track and field in Aiken County for 11 years. I am the head track and field coach at Midland Valley High School. I am originally from Atlanta, Georgia. I am married and have two beautiful children. Art is a means of expressing the inner feelings and outer emotions in an artistic medium. Art challenges you to think outside of the norm. As an artist, you can use colors, shapes, and lines to create an image of great beauty. When creating art, I gain an appreciation of the historical background of paintings, drawings, and sculptural artworks of the past, which connects the inspiration and influences of today. Art gives me a sense of freedom in this complex society. Again, welcome to the art world of Mr. Bridges.
