The course registration process for the 2021-2022 school year is about to get underway. This year, students will have more choice in selecting their exploratory/elective classes for the 2021-2022 school year. (Core classes will be assigned to students based off of data and teacher recommendations.) Please see the list below for course descriptions and watch the video for more information about the exploratory classes KMS will offer next school year. Once you have selected 4 elective classes for next year, download the class selection spreadsheet and indicate your class selections from 1-4 with 1 being the class you are most interested and 4 being the least interested. Pay special attention to which classes are year long and which are semester. Students may take 2 year-long classes, 4 semester classes, or 1 year long and 2 semester classes. It is whichever combination works best for your interests.  After deciding which exploratory/elective classes you would like, print and fill out and return the paper copy of the Course Choices below OR download it, select your courses, save and send it via email to Ms. Gibbons in the main office. Lastly, log in to your ParentPortal account and click on Class Registration on the left hand side. Then click on the box with a pencil in it to edit your Elective classes. After you have selected your electives be sure to click "Okay" and then "Submit."  

If you need assistance with this process, please give us a call at KMS at 803-641-2470.  Aiken Innovate students may register up until Friday February 19th and face to face students will complete this process during school the week of February 15th.

Course selections are due by Friday, February 19th for Aiken Innovate students. Registration for face-to-face students will take place the week of February 15th and for Aiken Intermediate (our rising 7th graders) will be the week of February 22nd.
