Where to cast your ballot on May 1

  • Please remember to cast your ballot on May 1. Polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. For immediate information on  and other pertinent information about voting, please visit scvotes.org. You may also look up your polling place location in the below notice of referendum. 

    If you are unable to vote during the designated date/time due to employment, vacation, disability, or a number of other qualifying reasons, please consider voting by . For absentee voting applications and information, visit scvotes.org or call the Election Commission at (803) 642-2028. 

    The following polling locations have changed since the last countywide election. (Notices will be posted at previous locations.)

    Six Points No. 35: USC –Aiken 471 University Parkway – The Business and Education Center Room 122  Aiken, SC (note: this is a change in location since the notice of referendum ad ran)

    Wagener Town Hall 39: Wagener Town Hall - 111 Railroad Ave W, Wagener,  SC 29164

    Breezy Hill 50: Christian Heritage Church - 285 Ascauga Lake Road, Graniteville, SC 29829

    Midland Valley 71: Aiken Technical College - 2276 Jefferson Davis Hwy, Graniteville, SC Rm 1300

    Levels No 72: Aiken Electric Coop - 2790 Wagener Rd, Aiken, SC 29801

     

    SALUDA COUNTY PRECINCTS ELIGIBLE

    In addition, the precincts in Saluda County that are part of the old Ridge Spring District #2 are eligible to vote in Tuesday, May 1's School Board Bond Referendum election. Students residing in those areas of Saluda County are zoned for Aiken County Public Schools and residents there pay county taxes in Saluda and school district taxes in Aiken County. The Elections Commission published the Notice of Referendum (below) and it includes the precincts in Saluda County that are eligible to vote in this election, including a portion of Pleasant Cross-voting at Mine Creek Baptist Church, a portion of Richland-voting at St. Williams Catholic Church, Ridge Spring-Monetta-voting at Ridge Spring Fire Dept., and Ward-voting at Town Hall.
