Ms. Jean W. Smith
I taught Agriculture Education for 32.5 years in North Carolina, having retired in June of 2017. As the Agriculture Teacher’s Creed states, "I am an Agriculture Teacher by choice not by chance…." I am a firm believer that Agriculture Education and the FFA can mold and make today’s students tomorrow’s leaders. The primary purpose of the FFA is to make a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.
I am very excited about starting my 7th year at Midland Valley High School and look forward to sharing the many opportunities that Agriculture Education and the FFA have to offer my students. It is my goal to teach and develop one of the best programs in the state of South Carolina.
