I have been working for the ACPSD since 2015. I've worked in the special education programs serving students at both Belvedere Elementary and LBC Middle School. This is my sixth year as a School Counselor and I am dedicated to serving students. I received my Bachelor of Arts at Newberry College in 2014, Master of School Counseling at Liberty University in 2018, and my Ed.S in Educational Leadership at Liberty University in 2020. I have two amazing daughters, one dog, and I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I am looking forward to a great school year and working with MVHS students and their families!

Hi, my name is Jennifer Randall and I am super excited to be your Lead Counselor, again, for the 2023-24 school year! I am a proud Midland Valley High alum, class of 1997! This is my 17th year in education, and my 11th year as a school counselor in Aiken County. I earned my undergraduate degree at the University of South Carolina Aiken in 2001 and my Master of School Counseling at the University of the Southwest in 2011. I am married to my high school sweetheart, and we have two sons who both graduated from MVHS, as well. I enjoy spending time with my family hiking, boating at the lake, and cheering on the Gamecocks! I look forward to serving our Mustang students and families this year!

My name is Brooke Gilmer and I have been a school counselor at Midland Valley since 2013. Before joining the MVHS team, I was a school counselor in Georgia for elementary and middle school students. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Augusta State University and my Master of Education in Counselor Education from Augusta State University in 2011. I am married and have an eight-year-old daughter and two dogs. I love animals, Atlanta Braves baseball, Atlanta United soccer, reading, and playing board games with my daughter. I’m excited about working with the amazing students and families of MVHS this year!

I am Sally Tice, and I am proud to be ValleyStrong! I have earned my Bachelor of Secondary Education and a Masters in Human Resource Development from Clemson University. In addition, I have earned my Masters in School Counseling from the University of West Alabama. I began my teaching career right here at MVHS quite a few years ago. After teaching and counseling at two other schools, I decided to come back home to the Valley! My husband, Victor Tice, teaches and coaches soccer at Aiken High School. My daughter, Rachel, is a junior at Clemson University (GO TIGERS!), and my daughter Maggie is a rising 8th grade student at Tall Pines STEM Academy. I enjoy watching any and all sports, spending time with my family, and having a great afternoon nap with my fury children, Sandy and Harper! I serve students with the last names S-Z and serve as the scholarship coordinator for seniors. Let's Go Mustangs! 

My name is Brandon Hill and I am excited to be a part of your counseling team as the school-based mental health counselor! I am a local from the area. I played football and graduated from Silver Bluff High School. I attained my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Educational Studies from the University of South Carolina Aiken and my Master of Science degree in Applied Clinical Psychology from the University of South Carolina Aiken. I enjoy being in nature, traveling, reading, and attending sporting events. My favorite place I have traveled so far is Denver, CO. My favorite sports teams are Alabama Crimson Tide and the LA Dodgers. I’m excited about working with the awesome students and staff at MVHS!!

I grew up in Gloverville, SC and graduated from Midland Valley High School with honors in 1983. After attending USCA, majoring in Math and Computer Science, I worked as a Cost Accountant for Graniteville Company for 7 years. In 1988, I married another MV graduate, Darryl Meyer. Together we raised two children who both were Mustang student athletes. My daughter, Victoria is now a scientist at SRNL and my son, Wesley is a service technician at Bridgestone. I have a seven year old grandson, Easton who I hope will wear a Mustang uniform as well. I began working at Midland Valley in 2005 as the ISS supervisor, transferred to the Attendance Aide position in 2006 and now I am very happy to be a part of our amazing Counseling Department. I am extremely proud to be a Valley girl!

Hello! I am thrilled to be a member of your Counseling Team at Midland Valley High. I am a South Carolina born and raised. I met my husband in Charleston while he was training with the United States Navy Nuclear program, and we moved around between states while he was active duty. We have two beautiful and intelligent girls who give us new challenges every day. My family is very fitness minded and we participate in multiple 5k, 10k, and half-marathons. My previous work experience includes Facility Management and Financial Services. I am going to be giving it my all to make sure I support the Counselors and You!

I graduated from Gardner-Webb University with a BS in Psychology and received a GCDF certification as a Career Development Facilitator or Career Specialist. I have been working as a Career Specialist for 15 years in the Aiken County School System including 11 years at the High School level and 4 years at the Middle School level. I am really looking forward to working with Midland Valley students in the area of career development. I hope to provide students with resources and opportunities that will alllow them to make informed decisions about their future careers, education, and training. Now more than ever it is important for students to be impowered by knowledge and experiences that will guide them as they transition from school into the workforce.
