My name is Mr. Welsh and this is my fifth year teaching at Midland Valley. I am teaching US History and World History this year. I also coach boys' soccer at the school. I graduated from Midland Valley in 2015, so my blood runs strong for this school. I went to Clemson University to become a teacher so I can help give the same opportunity that the great teachers at Midland Valley gave me not so long ago. I believe social studies education is essential for molding young men and women to not only become model citizens in their community, but to think critically and innovate new ways to better the future of the world.
