I am from Aiken and attended South Aiken High School. I am a Clemson University graduate with a Bachelors in Science degree in Animal and Veterinary Sciences in 2006. Previously, I taught Physical Science and Physics for six years here at Midland Valley in the Science Department. I am a life-long learner and love the hands-on nature of teaching and learning science. I have a 7-year old son that has already decided he is in high school and is ready to become a Clemson Tiger any day now. My hobbies and interests include reading classic literature, baking, quilting, and binge-watching The Office and PBS documentaries.  

I am excited this year about getting a chance to help make real-life connections to the concepts of science!
