    • Black ink pens/markers: thick and thin. [Micron and/or Sharpie]
    • Colored Pencils [Crayola brand is acceptable. No twistable or erasable pencils permitted. Prismacolor is pricier, but better quality. Rose Art and Crazy Art are NOT permitted.)
    • Ruler

    • Drawing Pencils (2H -6B) / Tortillon and/or blending stump

Art 1

  • This course is designed for basic introduction to foundational 2D and 3D art skills. Students will learn techniques to creative processes and understand how to use a variety of art materials and mediums, such as drawing pencils, colored pencils, pen and ink, acrylic, watercolor, and paper mache. This course is project based (with an emphasis on drawing) and students will be provided creative prompts to experiment with mediums and artistic ideas.
