Mrs. Hillary Herring
Hello and welcome! My name is Hillary Herring and I'm so excited to be the School Counselor here at Mossy Creek Elementary! I began my career in Aiken County in 2015 at Mossy Creek and was here for two years before moving to North Augusta Elementary for 5 years. I was proud to be selected as the North Augusta Elementary Teacher of the Year in 2022. I am so excited to be back at the Creek and work with the wonderful families and students here! My daughter was born while I worked at Mossy before, and she will be coming back with me, so I'm excited to be back where things began!
I live in Evans, Georgia with Andy, my husband of 15 years, our 6 year old daughter Lillie AND 3 cats. We love to travel, go to the lake, spend our summers at the beach, and just laugh together. I am a certified School Counselor in both Georgia and South Carolina. I received my degree in Psychology from Augusta University and my Masters in Education at Augusta University as well. I previously worked as a Georgia Pre-K teacher and also in community mental health as a therapist before coming to Aiken County as a School Counselor.
