My name is Ms. Shannon, I was born and raised in South Carolina.  I'm from a small town in lower South Carolina, called St. Matthews. At a very young age, my grandparents and parents had me participate in church and community activities and events that required me to speak before an audience, so although I consider myself shy, I'm confident in saying I don't have stage fright. Growing up throughout various seasons and stages in my life, I realized I had a great love for people. Never in a million years did I imagine being a teacher, but truly, it's my greatest and most rewarding career path yet. God surely knows what He's doing, and I'm grateful! Every day, I get to wake up and serve amazing students and their families with a goal in mind of making a lifelong impact. It is by God's Grace, Mercy, Favor, and Unconditional Love, that I am where I am today, and no matter how challenging or trying, I'LL NEVER GIVE UP, BECAUSE I LOVE ME...that's what I teach my students (my sweet angels), so I must practice what I teach! I love being a full-time educator. I would not change it for the world, because God's grace is in the assignment.
