My name is Traci Smith and I am a first grade teacher at Mossy Creek Elementary.  I am very excited about the 2023-2024 school year and look forward to a successful year.

I have been teaching school for a total of twenty-five years. I have taught from kindergarten to fifth grade.  I received an Early Childhood and Elementary Education Degree from Clemson University. I also have a Gifted and Talented Endorsement for the College of Charleston and am trained in Reading Recovery from Clemson University.  I am married to Kyle Smith, and we have four children. Taylor is married to Luke Francis, and they live in Ohio. Our grandson, Kyle will be two years old on August 22nd.  Logan graduated from Clemson University and lives in Austin, TX and is engaged to Charlie Green.   Luke graduated from Wheaton College and lives in Ponte Vedre, FL and Jack graduated from Clemson University and works in North Augusta for the Augusta GreenJackets.
