Hey!  My name is Emily Owens. This is my seventh year teaching. I have taught 5th and 4th grade.. I am originally from Alabama but moved to North Augusta in 2009 with my husband.  We have 3 children.  When my children aren't running me to their various activities, I like to read, run, and relax (my three Rs of happiness!).  My absolute favorite place to be is Panama City Beach, FL.  It is truly my happy place.

I am a graduate of USCA with my BA in Elementary Education.  In the summer of 2018, I gained my Gifted and Talented Endorsement from USCA.  In June of 2021, I gained my Masters of Education with a speciality in Mathematics from the University of South Carolina.

I am truly excited about being your child's teacher this school year!  I have a lot planned for your child and I cannot wait to make this the best year yet!

If you would like to have a conference with me about your student, my available conference times during the school week are 9:20-9:55am.  If planned ahead of time, I can schedule conferences after school.
