Emergency Medical Services (EMS) emphasizes pre-hospital treatment in the case of serious illness or injury. Students receive insight into the theory and application of concepts related to the provision of emergency medical care. Students have the opportunity to earn a variety of certifications including those most commonly associated with emergency care, but also those related to FEMA disaster relief. Courses are an excellent options for students interested in EMR, EMT, and emergency room careers. The program is currently 2 years.
