Hello, my name is Joey Patsourakos and this is my 6th year teaching Criminal Justice at ACCTC. I have over 30 years experience in law enforcement and fire supression.  I graduated from SC Criminal Justice Academy and SC Fire Academy.  I am certified as a SC Criminal Justice Academy Instructor, SC Fire Academy Instructor, Taser International Instructor, Glock Inc. Instructor, SLED CWP Instructor, American Hearth Association CPR/First Aid Instructor and First Responder Instructor. 

Criminal Justice offers the student a head start towards their college degree by offering 12 college credits upon completion of this program through the TAP program at Aiken Technical College. The Criminal Justice curriculum taught at ACCTC shadows the SC Criminal Justice Academy curriculum.  Students who have completed this program have gone on to further their eduction by majoring in crime scene investigation, foresics, law, and medical examiner.  Others have become police officers, SC DNR agents, and FBI agents.
