    Hey there! My name is Callie Arbaugh. Most students know me as Mrs. A. I’m excited to be your child’s Speech-Language Therapist this year!  This is my 14th year working as an SLT for ACPSD. I am also a certified Preschool Special Education teacher. This is my 1st year as the full-time therapist at AES. I may, however, be a familiar face to some because I’ve worked part-time at AES since 2019 while traveling between schools. I can’t wait to get to know more AES students and support those that have needs in speech and/or language skills. I am a firm believer that everyone deserves a voice and words matter!

    I am a native of Rock Hill, SC but have lived in Aiken since 2010 after graduating from Columbia College. I married my husband, Brett, in 2014. We have a son, Cooper, who is a 4K student at AES this year. We also have a fur baby, Kya. As a family, we enjoy sports, especially when it involves cheering on our favorite teams, the South Carolina Gamecocks and the Atlanta Braves. We also enjoy going fishing.

   I hope this quick snap shot has helped you get to know me a little better. I am looking forward to another exciting school year and creating more special bonds with students and their families.
