Welcome to Mrs. Dickson's class!!

I am beyond excited about having your child in my class this school year. I appreciate you sharing them with me for seven hours a day to grow and learn together. I have been teaching for over 20 years and have experience in grades K5, 1^st, 2^nd, 3^rd, and 5^th. I have worked as a Title One Math Interventionist and taught adult education also. I have taught in SC, NC, and GA.

I feel that teaching is my calling. I never want to leave the classroom and love the fact that I can love, nurture, and grow the minds of children. My career is extremely important to me, but God and my family are even more important to me. I am married and Chris and I have four wonderful children. Our older son, Brandon, and older daughter, Cary Lynn, are both out of college and married. My son, Christopher, graduates from Clemso in December. Go Tigers!!! Our youngest, Hannah, is a freshman at Clemson. My students will hear me talk about my children and my sweet Boykin Spaniel, Riggs, very often.

I always like to keep communication open with you at all times. I am here to help you and your child in any way I can to be as successful as possible in 2^nd grade. I look forward to working with you this year.
