I am truly happy to be the school counselor at Jackson Middle School. I am a graduate of Augusta State University with a Masters of Education in School Counseling. I was previously a Special Education teacher in Richmond County and I worked for the Department of Family and Children Services for many years.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading and attending concerts. Music is my thing.

I am here to serve the students, parents, and staff of Jackson Middle. I am available to assist you with academic, career and personal concerns involving your children. I strive to do what is best for all of the students.

My focus is on helping each student become successful in life.

Please do not hesitate to call or email if I can help you with anything.

Greetings, Jackson family!

As a Career Specialist, I can think of no better school to be a part of!  With careers in the STEM field being in high demand, I'm looking forward to working with our students to explore future options that will set them on the right path to success.

I am so excited to be working with our students to explore future options that will set them on the right path to success! I have been a Career Specialist in the Ï㽶ӰÊÓ for 16 years and my goals here are simple: to expose our students to jobs and careers beyond what they’re currently aware of (ie; doctor, lawyer, professional athlete, etc…), to help them better understand themselves and their abilities (through brain games and interest inventories), and to help them start to understand what it REALLY takes to get and KEEP a job (those professional skills). Outside of school, you will find me camping with my husband and our four doxies, loving on my grandchildren or directing weddings. If it involves helping people, I'm there!

Please don't hesitate to reach out if there is anything I can do for you or your student!
Amy
