Ms. Carla Dupert

I am excited and honored to be a part of the Jackson STEM Magnet Middle School family! I started my career in the Ï㽶ӰÊÓ as a science teacher at Aiken High School. In my first year, not only did I teach Physical Science and Environmental Science, I was also the Varsity Girls’ Golf Coach. During my 9 years at Aiken High, I continued to teach a variety of science subjects and coached multiple sports, including Girls’ Golf, Varsity & JV softball and middle school basketball.

Before becoming an educator, I obtained my Bachelor of Science - Exercise Science from USC Aiken. I was a personal trainer and owner of an aerobic kickboxing business. I obtained my second Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education – Biology from USC Aiken in 2007. I taught at Aiken High School from 2007 until 2016. I completed my Masters Degree in Educational Leadership and began my profession as a High School Science Content Interventionist for Aiken County Public Schools. I have grown professionally and personally through the guidance of incredible administrators, colleagues and mentors throughout the School District.

I am extremely excited to be Jackson STEM Magnet Middle School’s new Principal! My passion has always been to help young people grow, not only academically but socially and emotionally as well!
