7th Grade World Geography 2023

This class will focus on all things geography, from terms of mapping skills to landforms, to impacts on environment and human development and movement.  If it's geography related, we're covering it.

At this time there is no textbook for this class.

Color pencils (you only need a basic package as we will only use 3-8 colors at any given time)

A simple (inexpensive) basic folder--please, NO binders!

Pencils or pens.  

We will observe all school and District expectations in this class.  I expect all students to follow the following four 'principles' while in my class, namely:

1) Come to class prepared

2) Respect the opinions of others

3) Don't be rude

4) Expect to succeed

Grading in this class conforms to District standards, as follows:

90-100 A

80-89   B

70-79   C

60-69   D

<59      F

Students are encouraged to complete all assignments in a timely manner, however, I will accept "late" assignments if they are turned in in a reasonable timeframe.  Assignments are marked in PowerSchool with a green check mark indicating they have been turned in for a grade.  Late assignments will be marked as "Missing" and, on the second day that an assignment is late a grade of "0" will be entered.  "0" grades will be modified upon student turning them in.
