Class Dojo

  • I use Class Dojo as my main behavior management tool in my classroom. Students receive positive points for following the school rules for being respectful, responsible, and safe, as well as other classroom expectations that have been established, such as being kind, helpful, on task, working hard, being a hallway hero, etc. Points will be taken away for behaviors such as disturbing learning, not following directions, being off task, excessive talking, etc.

Students have a "Classroom Credit" card where points from each week are added for purchasing of rewards. Once students reach 100 points, they get to have lunch with Mrs. Meusel. The two students who earned the most points each week get to sit at the VIP table!

Students truly love to hear the "ding" when points are added!
