Welcome to 1st grade!! My name is Kristy Youngblood. I am so excited about this school year! This is my fourth year at Mossy Creek and my 18th year teaching school. I have taught Kindergarten, 1st grade, and 2nd grade. On our class site you can find information on teacher contact, important events, at home resources, and much much more!
I grew up in Aiken and graduated from South Aiken High School in 2000. I received my Bachelor's degree from USCA in Early Childhood Education and my Master's degree from Columbia College. I was also certified and trained in Reading Recovery from Clemson University in 2019
When I'm not at school, I enjoy spending time with my wonderful husband Luke and our two precious boys. Sawyer is 10 and Ryan will be 7 in December. We love to travel, to play games, and to eat Mexican food and Chick-fil-A.
