Welcome to Ms. Willson's class!! My name is Haley Willson and I'm a first year, first grade teacher. I completed my internship in Kindergarten here at Busbee Elementary in May 2021 and I'm so excited to officially become a bulldog! I immediately fell in love not only with Busbee Elementary, but the community as well; it's my home away from home. I know that things are still not quite back to normal, however, my goal is to help all of my students reach their full potential in a loving and safe classroom that feels like one big family; I want my students to feel comfortable enough to make mistakes, but help one another learn from them like a family does. 

I graduated from USC Aiken with a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. I'm originally from Gilbert, SC but I currently live in Leesville with my fiance Alex. We got engaged this past summer and we are getting married next July.
