My name is Melissa Burke.  My family and I live in Gilbert.  I have one son named Samuel.  He is a sophomore at Clemson.  When I am not at school I love to read, crochet or work in my yard.

This is my 28th year teaching at Busbee Elementary.  I have taught 4th grade reading, 2nd grade, 1st grade and kindergarten.  This is my first year teaching 4K and I love it! The assistant in our classroom is Sandy Deans.  We are excited and ready for a new year of learning.  If you have any questions or concerns, I am happy to talk with you.  Please email me or call the front office.
